Charlie Magnone is a musician living in Austin, TX, where he performs frequently as a solo and a collaborative pianist. He works often as a keyboardist, composer, songwriter, and arranger in both the live and studio settings. Recent compositional commissions and premieres include the music of Erik DeLuca, Robert Honstein, Andrew Davis, and Joel Love, while recent collaborators include mezzo-soprano Kathryn Findlen, violinist Roseminna Watson, line upon line percussion, and the University of Texas University Orchestra. Charlie is one of the co-directors of Fast Forward Austin, the activities of which culminate in an 8 hour long festival concert each Spring. He tours as a full time member of Texas country artist Parker McCollum’s band and is also a passionate teacher - he is a faculty member at the Austin School for the Visual and Performing Arts and he is pursuing his DMA in piano performance at the Butler School of Music.
